Duties include cooking, organizing and labeling food items in storage closets, performing tasks like chopping ingredients and sanitizing their workstation during and after service. Key Responsibilities Completing all tasks, in order, on the prep list from the Food and Beverage Manager or Lead Cook Labeling and stocking all ingredients on easily accessible shelves Cleaning dishes, washing cooking utensils and cookware, taking out the trash and sanitizing kitchen Adhering to all relevant nutrition and sanitary regulations and standards Cooking meals if Lead Cook is not available Remain in a standing position for extended periods of time. Preparation of events alongside kitchen lead. Requirements and Qualifications Great communication skills Diplomatic, tactful, creative, discreet, flexible, resourceful, dependable, well-organized, friendly, emotionally mature and professional. A Passion for Serving People, overall knowledge of back of the house operations. Pleasant, professional, outgoing personality. Food handlers card. Reliable transportation. Knowledge and experience with cost control and reducing waste.
Education:
High School Experience:
Minimum 2 years working in kitchen positions Physical Requirements Must be able to work in a kitchen setting. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds. Able to be on feet for an extended period of time.
