This role offers an exciting opportunity to showcase your culinary skills, contribute to a vibrant dining experience, and help deliver exceptional meals to our guests. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment, demonstrate strong food safety practices, and bring enthusiasm for creating delicious, high-quality dishes that delight our patrons every weekend. Duties Prepare ingredients and assemble dishes according to established recipes and menu specifications, ensuring consistency and quality. Assist in meal preparation for brunch service, including chopping, slicing, marinating, and portioning ingredients with precision. Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, including ovens, mixers, slicers, and food processors. Maintain cleanliness of workstations, utensils, and kitchen appliances to meet health and safety standards. Follow food handling procedures diligently to ensure proper storage, sanitation, and safety throughout the food production process. Support menu planning by suggesting improvements or modifications based on ingredient availability and customer preferences. Collaborate closely with kitchen staff to coordinate meal timing, communicate special requests, and uphold a smooth workflow during busy brunch hours. Qualifications Previous experience in a dietary department or dietary aide role is highly desirable. Proven food preparation skills with a strong understanding of food safety management and hygiene standards. Experience in restaurant or catering environments demonstrating proficiency in cooking techniques and recipe adherence. Knowledge of kitchen equipment operation including knives (slicing techniques), mixers, ovens, and other culinary tools. Excellent communication skills for effective coordination with kitchen staff and front-of-house team. Ability to follow detailed instructions accurately while maintaining high standards of cleanliness and safety. Culinary experience that includes meal prep, food handling, and safety standards in a fast-paced setting is preferred.
