Join us as a Production Cook We are seeking a dependable and driven Production Cook to support our kitchen operations at our Ambler locations. This position is Full-time 35+ hours per week. Some Weekend Availability required. This role is responsible for efficiently and consistently preparing high-volume food production in advance of service needs, ensuring seamless execution during peak hours. The successful candidate will follow standardized recipes to prepare, package, and label a diverse selection of high-quality prepared foods for retail. This is a hands-on position that plays a critical role in maintaining product availability and delivering a positive customer experience.
Responsibilities Include:
Prepare items from our daily production list using the provided recipes Pre-wrap and label products for sale Keep the kitchen clean and up to sanitation standards Follow all Weavers Way policies and procedures Attend team meetings and all-staff gatherings Help with quarterly inventory counts Read the daybook and other updates at the start of each shift Take on other duties as assigned by the Prepared Foods Manager or Manager on Duty Requirements At least 2 years of experience in kitchen prep and production Have advanced knife skills A commitment to the mission and goals of Weavers Way Co-op. Volume cooking experience is a plus Solid knowledge of food safety practices A team player with great communication skills Able to work independently and make sound decisions when needed A genuine passion for food and current culinary trends Be, or become upon hiring, a member in good standing of Weavers Way Co-op.
