Line Cooks -
Hearth & Fry Job Type:
Full-time /
Part-time Location:
Braddock Public House - Braddock, PA About the Role Braddock Public House is looking for experienced, dependable line cooks to strengthen our kitchen team, with immediate openings on our hearth and fry/hot side stations . We run a fast-paced, high-standard kitchen where cooks are expected to own their stations, communicate, stay organized, and execute consistently when volume hits. We're looking for people who already understand how to work a line . If you move with urgency, keep a clean and organized station, can manage multiple tickets and cook times simultaneously, and take pride in putting out consistently great food, we want to hear from you. Current Openings Hearth Cook Execute hearth-fired menu items accurately and consistently. Manage multiple cook times, temperatures, and tickets during high-volume service. Maintain proper fire, heat, and station organization throughout service. Coordinate closely with expo and the rest of the line for complete, properly timed pickups. Maintain station pars, prep, cleanliness, and food-safety standards.
Fry / Hot
Side Cook Anchor a high-volume fry station while maintaining speed, accuracy, and consistency. Manage multiple baskets, cook times, tickets, and pickups simultaneously. Monitor fryer oil quality and properly perform filtration, rotation, boil-outs, and routine fryer maintenance. Maintain station pars, restock the line, and complete prep accurately. Keep the station exceptionally clean and organized throughout service.
What We're Looking For Experience:
1-2+ years of line-cook experience in a high-volume, fast-paced kitchen strongly preferred.
Line Awareness:
You can prioritize tickets, anticipate what's coming next, and communicate when you need something. Speed +
Accuracy:
You can move quickly without letting quality or presentation fall apart.
Station Ownership:
You come prepared, know your pars, stay stocked, clean as you go, and leave your station ready for the next service.
Teamwork:
You understand that a strong line moves together. Communication with expo and neighboring stations is part of the job.
Reliability:
You show up on time, ready to work, and communicate appropriately when something comes up.
Food Safety:
Strong understanding of sanitation, temperature control, cross-contamination prevention, and proper food handling.
Availability:
Nights and weekends required; holiday availability may be required based on business needs. What We Offer $18.00-$22.00/hour , based on experience and demonstrated ability. Employee discounts.
