We are seeking a dependable and flexible Relief Cook to support our dietary team at a skilled nursing facility. This role is ideal for someone who can step in as needed to ensure residents continue to receive high-quality meals and consistent service.

Qualifications of Relief Cook:

Previous cooking experience required (healthcare or nursing home preferred) Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards Familiarity with dietary restrictions and modified diets Flexible schedule and ability to work on short notice Reliable and able to work independently Responsibilities for

Relief Cook:

Prepare and cook meals in accordance with planned menus and dietary requirements Step in to cover shifts for call-outs, vacations, or staffing gaps Ensure meals meet state and federal guidelines for skilled nursing facilities Follow therapeutic and modified diets (e.g., low sodium, diabetic, pureed) Maintain a clean, safe, and organized kitchen environment Monitor food temperatures, storage, and sanitation practices Work collaboratively with dietary staff to ensure smooth operations If you are reliable, flexible, and passionate about providing quality meals, we encourage you to apply!
