The Farmhouse Restaurant, located inside The Barn Resort is hiring experienced and passionate chefs/culinarians/cooks who are seeking opportunities to take their culinary skills to the next level. We're on the lookout for dedicated Line Cooks to join our dynamic kitchen team and be a crucial part of our exciting culinary journey! What We're Looking For Proven experience as a Line Cook in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
Proficiency in various cooking techniques and a strong understanding of food safety practices.
Ability to work well under pressure and maintain high standards of quality during busy services.
Team player with excellent communication skills and a positive attitude.
Passion for culinary innovation and a desire to contribute to a unique and memorable dining experience. What You'll Be Doing Set up and stock kitchen stations with all necessary supplies
Prepare food
Clean and maintain the kitchen and its equipment
Comply with all food-handling, safety, and sanitation guidelines as provided

To be a part of an amazing team Requirements High School Diploma/GED Equivalent
3+ years working knowledge of kitchen equipment and its proper usage
ServSafe® Certification or ability to obtain certification within 90 days of employment
Willingness to learn and follow the direction of the Kitchen and General managers and be a team player
3+ years previous experience as a cook is preferred. Experience in catering, buffet, and/or full-menu dining is a plus. Work Environment Operates in a kitchen/prep area environment
Moderate to loud noise
Frequent exposure to variable temperature changes and steam Physical Demands Ability to Bend, Squat, Run & Physically React in a Prompt Manner
Ability to use hands and fingers in grasping, pinching, chopping, pulling, and lifting motions associated with preparing and cooking products using knives, utensils and cookware
Ability to Lift 50 lbs.
Ability to stand for very long periods of time
