Job Description

Dietary Cook Oak Hill Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center in Greensburg, PA is currently seeking a dependable and experienced Dietary Cook to join our team. If you have a passion for food service and enjoy making a difference in the lives of residents, we encourage you to apply today!
Open Interviews:
Monday - Friday from 10am - 2pm! What You'll Do Prepare and cook meals according to established menus and recipes Follow resident diet orders, including therapeutic and modified diets Ensure meals are prepared and served at the proper temperature Prepare food according to portion and presentation standards Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary kitchen Follow food safety, sanitation, infection-control, and facility procedures Properly store, label, and rotate food and supplies Assist with meal service and kitchen cleanup Work closely with the Dietary Manager and dietary team to ensure quality meal service Provide courteous and professional service to residents and staff Qualifications Previous cooking or food service experience preferred Healthcare, skilled nursing, or long-term care experience is a plus Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices Ability to follow menus, recipes, and resident diet requirements Dependable, organized, and able to work effectively as part of a team Why Join Oak Hill?
