Job Description
Pizza Maker / Line Cook Inferno Pizza is hiring Pizza Makers and Line Cooks! We're looking for dependable, hardworking team members who enjoy working in a fast-paced kitchen and take pride in putting out great food. Whether you already have pizza or restaurant experience or are willing to learn, we'd like to hear from you. We have morning, evening, and weekend shifts available and are looking for people who can become a reliable part of our kitchen team. What You'll Do As a Pizza Maker / Line Cook, your responsibilities may include: Prepare and make pizzas according to Inferno Pizza recipes and standards Stretch and prepare pizza dough Sauce, cheese, top, and finish pizzas Operate pizza ovens safely and efficiently Prepare hoagies, appetizers, wings, salads, and other menu items Work the fryer, grill, and other kitchen stations as needed Complete food prep for your shift Keep ingredients stocked and organized Follow proper food handling and sanitation procedures Maintain a clean and organized work area Help keep the kitchen moving during busy lunch and dinner rushes Read and prepare orders accurately Work with other kitchen staff to make sure orders are completed quickly and correctly Assist with opening and/or closing kitchen duties Wash dishes and clean equipment/work areas as needed Follow Inferno Pizza portioning, quality, and presentation standards Available Shifts We are currently hiring for a variety of shifts, including: Morning / Opening Shifts Lunch Shifts Evening / Dinner Shifts Closing Shifts Weekend Shifts Weekend availability is important. Both part-time and full-time availability may be considered depending on scheduling needs. What We're Looking For The ideal candidate is: Dependable and shows up on time Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment Able to stay organized during busy periods Able to work well with a team Friendly and respectful toward coworkers Willing to learn multiple kitchen stations Able to follow recipes, portioning, and food safety procedures Able to stand for extended periods Able to safely lift typical restaurant supplies and food products Available for some evenings and weekends Pizza, restaurant, or line-cook experience is a plus, but we are willing to train the right person with a good attitude and strong work ethic.
