Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Grill Cook to join our culinary team on a part time basis. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food service and a strong understanding of meal preparation techniques. As a Grill Cook, you will be responsible for preparing high-quality grilled dishes while adhering to food safety standards and maintaining a clean kitchen environment. This role is essential in delivering an exceptional dining experience to our guests. Duties Prepare and cook a variety of grilled items, ensuring they meet quality and presentation standards. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the grill station and surrounding areas. Follow food safety guidelines to ensure all meals are prepared in a safe and sanitary manner. Assist in inventory management, including ordering supplies as needed. Monitor cooking times and temperatures to ensure optimal flavor and texture. Provide support to other kitchen staff as needed, fostering a team-oriented environment. Experience Proven experience as a cook in food service settings, particularly with grill cooking. Familiarity with dietary department practices and menu planning is preferred. Knowledge of food handling procedures and food safety regulations. Experience in catering or fine dining establishments is a plus. Strong ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment while maintaining attention to detail. This position is a total of 3-4 days a week with weekends mandatory.
