Job Overview Join our culinary team as a Line Cook. In this role, you'll be responsible for preparing high-quality dishes with precision and efficiency, ensuring every plate meets our standards of taste and presentation. Your culinary skills will contribute to creating a memorable dining experience for our guests, supporting the overall success of our restaurant. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your kitchen expertise in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. Duties Prepare and cook menu items according to standardized recipes, ensuring consistency and quality in every dish Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, including ovens, grills, fryers, and food processors Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations, adhering to strict food safety and sanitation standards Assist with food handling, portioning, slicing techniques, and meal preparation to meet service times Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate food production Follow safety procedures during food preparation and handling to prevent contamination or accidents Support menu planning efforts by suggesting improvements based on ingredient availability and customer preferences Experience Previous experience in a food service environment or restaurant setting is required Demonstrated culinary experience with knowledge of food industry standards and safety management practices Skilled in knife handling, slicing techniques, and recipe adherence to ensure consistent quality Familiarity with operating various kitchen equipment safely and effectively Strong communication skills for effective teamwork within the kitchen environment Catering experience or background in food preparation for large groups is a plus.
Pay:
$15.00 - $17.00 per hour Expected hours: 25.0 - 40.0 per week
