Warwick School District is seeking qualified applicants for the following anticipated position effective as soon as the selected candidate is available: Food & Nutrition Services Head Cook Full-time (8 hours per day), school year position (benefits year-round) Starting rate of $16.34 per hour Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance PSERS Retirement Benefits Life Insurance Long-Term Disability Paid Time Off/Paid Holidays The head cook is responsible for preparing and serving attractive, nutritionally balanced meals utilizing standardized recipes that follow the guidelines set forth by the National School Lunch Program. The position requires knowledge of appropriate serving sizes for each food group. Duties also include assisting with storage and disposal of food and point of sale, as needed. The individuals selected must be able to lift 50 pounds and have excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Cooks are required to obtain and maintain a ServSafe certification and utilize their HACCP training during operation.
