Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Diner Line Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing and cooking menu items in a fast-paced diner environment, ensuring high-quality food service and adherence to food safety standards. Responsibilities Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and quality standards Assist with meal preparation, plating, and presentation Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines at all times Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently Collaborate with team members to ensure timely service Experience Previous experience in a restaurant or diner setting preferred, especially in fine dining or casual dining environments Strong knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and food handling safety protocols Skills in meal preparation, and food presentation Proficiency in knife skills, food safety standards, and kitchen equipment operation Background in the food industry including catering, serving, or kitchen experience is advantageous
