Are you living your life's work? We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Cook to join our Food Services team. In this role, you will prepare and serve high-quality meals in a fast-paced, high-volume environment while maintaining the highest standards of food safety, sanitation, and quality. Key Responsibilities Prepare food items according to standardized recipes, including vegetables, entrees, breakfast items, and sandwiches. Perform a variety of cooking methods such as roasting, baking, broiling, frying, and grilling. Prepare and portion meats, cheeses, and other ingredients for service. Set up and maintain tray-line operations, ensuring timely and accurate meal production. Monitor food quality, taste, texture, appearance, and temperature throughout preparation, holding, and serving. Ensure compliance with all food safety regulations, including Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point (HACCP) procedures. Properly label, date, store, and rotate food products to maintain freshness and minimize waste. Maintain food production, storage, and preparation areas in a clean, organized, and sanitary condition. Set up entrée, vegetable, and soup stations and verify food temperatures before service. Assist with inventory management and support departmental operations as needed. Perform additional duties as assigned.
