Responsibilities Prepare ingredients and cook menu items according to standardized recipes and quality specifications Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, including ovens, grills, fryers, and knives Maintain cleanliness of workstations, utensils, and kitchen areas in compliance with food safety standards Assist with meal assembly, plating, and presentation to ensure visual appeal Follow food handling procedures diligently to uphold safety and hygiene regulations Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate meal preparation and ensure timely service Support menu planning efforts by providing input on ingredient availability and preparation techniques Skills Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, and food service environments Strong knowledge of safety standards in production and food handling practices Skilled in operating various kitchen equipment safely and effectively Excellent knife skills with proficiency in slicing techniques and ingredient prep Familiarity with culinary techniques, recipe adherence, and meal preparation processes Ability to communicate clearly with kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations Experience in dietary department or dietary aide roles is a plus, demonstrating understanding of special dietary needs Knowledge of food safety management systems and catering experience enhances your suitability for this role Join us as a Line Cook and bring your culinary talents to life! Pay:
