Job Description
Euro Pizza, a busy, established neighborhood restaurant in Newtown Square, is looking for a reliable, experienced full-time Grill / Fry Cook & Prep Cook to join our kitchen team. This is an important full-time position for someone who is comfortable working in a fast-paced kitchen and can handle multiple responsibilities throughout the day. Responsibilities Work the grill and fryer during service Prepare cheesesteaks, chicken, burgers, sandwiches and other menu items Fry wings, chicken fingers, fries, appetizers and other items Complete daily food prep and restock your station Portion and prepare ingredients for service Help with soups, sauces and other kitchen prep as needed Maintain a clean, organized and fully stocked workstation Follow food safety, sanitation and proper food-handling procedures Work efficiently with the rest of the kitchen during busy lunch and dinner periods Assist with general kitchen duties when needed What We're Looking For We are looking for someone who is: Dependable and shows up on time Comfortable working in a busy kitchen Able to work independently once trained Organized and clean Able to multitask during high-volume periods Willing to help wherever needed Available for nights and weekends Looking for a consistent, long-term position Previous grill, fry, line cook or restaurant kitchen experience is strongly preferred. Experience in a pizza shop, sandwich shop, deli, diner, fast-casual restaurant or similar high-volume kitchen is a plus. Schedule Full-time Approximately 40+ hours per week Must have availability for a combination of days, evenings and weekends. Compensation Competitive pay based on experience.
