Responsibilities Prepare ingredients by washing, peeling, slicing, and chopping fresh produce using proper knife skills and slicing techniques. Assist in following recipes accurately to ensure meal consistency and quality adherence. Operate kitchen equipment safely, including dishwashers, ovens, mixers, and other culinary tools. Maintain cleanliness of all kitchen areas by washing dishes, sanitizing surfaces, and disposing of waste properly. Follow safety procedures diligently to uphold health regulations and prevent accidents during food handling and cleaning tasks. Requirements Previous experience in food service, dietary department, or restaurant environments is preferred but not mandatory; enthusiasm to learn is essential. Strong communication skills for effective teamwork with kitchen staff. Ability to operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently. Physical ability to stand for extended periods, lift heavy items safely, and perform cleaning duties thoroughly. A proactive attitude with a focus on maintaining high standards of cleanliness and food quality.

$12.00 - $14.00 per hour
