Duties Prepare and assemble a variety of pizza recipes according to established menus and customer specifications Operate kitchen equipment such as ovens, mixers, slicers, and dough rollers efficiently and safely Follow food safety sanitizing procedures to maintain a clean and hygienic workspace Ensure all food handling practices comply with health regulations and safety standards Assist in menu planning by suggesting new pizza flavors and toppings based on current trends and customer preferences Monitor ingredient levels and communicate needs for restocking or ordering supplies Maintain consistency in recipe adherence, portion control, and presentation for each pizza produced Collaborate with team members to ensure timely service during peak hours Uphold high standards of food production quality, including grilling, braising, poaching, and other cooking techniques relevant to pizza preparation Support dietary department initiatives by preparing special dietary pizzas as needed for specific dietary requirements or allergies Experience Proven experience in food preparation within a restaurant or food industry setting, preferably with fine dining or high-volume production experience Strong knowledge of food safety management, sanitizing procedures, and proper food handling techniques Skilled in operating kitchen equipment safely and efficiently in a fast-paced environment Demonstrated proficiency in culinary techniques such as grilling, braising, poaching, and knife skills Experience with menu planning, recipe adherence, and meal preparation for diverse customer needs Background in catering or large-scale food production is a plus Familiarity with dietary aide experience or dietary department operations is advantageous Previous restaurant experience emphasizing food service excellence and high-quality food production Join us to craft exceptional pizzas that excite taste buds!
