Summary We are seeking a Prep Cook to join our dynamic team at T-Bone's Marketplace. This role is essential in preparing high-quality food items and ensuring that our kitchen operates smoothly. As a Prep Cook, you will play a vital part in maintaining our commitment to excellent customer service and product quality. Responsibilities Prepare ingredients for cooking by washing, chopping, and measuring. Assist in cooking and assembling dishes according to recipes and standards. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen workspace. Follow food safety guidelines and ensure proper food handling procedures are adhered to. Collaborate with chefs and kitchen staff to ensure timely meal preparation. Help with inventory management by tracking supplies and notifying management of shortages. Requirements Must be able to Unload Delivery Trucks Lifting at least 50 lbs. Previous experience in a kitchen or culinary environment is preferred. Strong knowledge of food safety practices and regulations. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Good communication skills and teamwork mentality. Basic understanding of culinary techniques and food preparation methods.
