Job Description

Cook Qualifications:
High School Diploma or GED Two Years' Experience in Food Service Preparation in an institutional setting
Responsibilities/Duties:
Prepare nutritious and attractive meals for children and staff according to a pre-arranged menu which meets the nutritional needs of each child as specified by the Child and Adult Care Food Program and Head Start. Participate in nutrition education activities with the teaching staff and maintain appropriate standards of cleanliness, proper food storage and preparation as outlined in the Head Start Performance Standards. Terms of Employment Conditions of Employment Luzerne County Head Start requires staff to possess current, valid Background Clearances (3) per state/federal regulations. Proof of education is required to meet the qualifications for the position. Hours & Salary Full Time, school year positions

Rate of Pay:
$15.89/hr. $500 Sign-On Bonus! Fringe Benefits
