In this energetic role, you will be responsible for preparing delicious meals, maintaining high safety standards, and ensuring every dish meets our quality expectations. Your culinary expertise will contribute to creating a welcoming environment for our guests and supporting the smooth operation of our child Care facility. Responsibilities Prepare and cook a variety of meals according to established recipes and menu specifications Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, including ovens, mixers, slicers, and other culinary tools Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards throughout the kitchen area, including food prep stations and cooking surfaces Assist with menu planning by following dietary guidelines and accommodating special dietary needs Handle food safely by adhering to proper food handling procedures and safety regulations Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely meal preparation and delivery Support catering events by preparing large quantities of food and ensuring presentation quality Skills Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, and kitchen operations within a restaurant or food service environment Strong knife skills with proficiency in slicing techniques and portion control Knowledge of food safety management practices and safety standards in production environments Ability to follow recipes accurately and maintain consistency in meal quality Excellent communication skills to coordinate effectively with kitchen staff and other team members Familiarity with operating various kitchen equipment safely and efficiently Background in the food industry or culinary experience demonstrating versatility in meal preparation and food handling Join us as a Cook to bring your culinary talents to life!
