Job Description
Join One of Rhode Island's Premier Private Country Clubs Pawtucket Country Club is seeking a talented and motivated Lead Line Cook to work alongside our Executive Chef in delivering exceptional culinary experiences for our members and guests. This is an outstanding opportunity for an experienced culinary professional looking to advance into a leadership role while working in a high-quality private club environment. Our kitchen produces upscale à la carte dining, weddings, golf tournaments, member events, and private banquets throughout the year. Responsibilities Lead daily grill, sauté, and line production alongside the Executive Chef. Assist in supervising and supporting the culinary team during service. Prepare and execute high-quality member dining and banquet events. Maintain exceptional food quality, consistency, and presentation. Assist with food preparation, inventory, ordering, organization, and kitchen operations. Maintain the highest standards of sanitation and food safety. Train and mentor line cooks and kitchen staff. Assist with menu development, daily specials, and seasonal features. Ensure efficient ticket times and smooth service during high-volume periods. Qualifications Minimum 3 years of professional line cooking experience required. Strong grill and sauté experience required. ServSafe Certification required. Culinary education is a plus. Previous private country club experience is highly preferred and will expedite the hiring process. Experience in upscale restaurants, hotels, or banquet facilities preferred. Strong understanding of food safety and sanitation standards. Excellent organizational and time-management skills. Positive attitude with the ability to thrive under pressure. Dependable, punctual, and professional. Strong communication and leadership abilities. Team-oriented with a passion for continuous learning. Must be available to work evenings, weekends, and holidays. Compensation & Benefits Starting salary of $55,000 , with compensation based on experience and qualifications.
