Job Overview We are seeking a Line Cook/Prep Cook to join our dedicated back of the house team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in food preparation and ensuring that our kitchen operates smoothly and efficiently. Qualifications Previous experience in food preparation or cooking within a restaurant or catering environment is required. Serv Safe Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment. Ability to take feedback Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Familiarity with kitchen equipment and tools. A passion for cooking and creativity in menu development is a plus. Willingness to learn and adapt in a dynamic kitchen setting. Responsibilities Prepare and cook a variety of menu items according to recipes and standards. Ensure all food is prepared in a safe and sanitary manner, adhering to ServSafe guidelines. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and workstations. Collaborate with team members to ensure timely meal service and efficient kitchen operations. Assist in inventory management and food storage practices to minimize waste. Support menu planning and special dietary needs as required.
Pay:
$21.00 - $24.00 per hour
