Responsibilities Assist in meal preparation and food service, ensuring timely and quality delivery of dishes Follow safety standards in food handling, storage, and production to maintain a safe environment Support menu planning by preparing ingredients and assisting with recipe execution Use proper knife skills and slicing techniques to prepare vegetables, meats, and other ingredients efficiently Maintain cleanliness of kitchen areas, adhering to food safety management protocols Contribute to catering events by preparing and serving food with professionalism and attention to detail Support the dietary department by understanding specific dietary needs and assisting in meal customization when necessary Qualifications Previous experience in dietary departments or as a dietary aide is highly desirable Hands-on experience with food preparation, cooking, or restaurant service is preferred Knowledge of safety standards in food production and handling practices is essential Familiarity with kitchen equipment, knife skills, slicing techniques, and general culinary practices Strong understanding of food safety regulations and food industry best practices Ability to work efficiently in fast-paced environments while maintaining high standards of cleanliness and safety Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented attitude If you're eager to develop your culinary expertise while making a positive impact through nourishing meals, we want to hear from you!
