Overview We are seeking a motivated and energetic Line Cook/Prep Cook to join our culinary team. In this role, you will play a vital part in preparing high-quality dishes, maintaining food safety standards, and ensuring our kitchen runs smoothly. This position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your culinary skills in a fast-paced, friendly environment. Responsibilities Prepare ingredients and cook menu items according to standardized recipes and quality standards Assist with meal preparation, including slicing, dicing, and portioning ingredients using proper knife skills and slicing techniques Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, including ovens, fryers, grills, and food processors Maintain cleanliness of workstations, utensils, and kitchen surfaces to meet health and safety standards Follow food handling procedures and adhere to food safety management protocols at all times Communicate effectively with kitchen staff to coordinate meal production and ensure timely service Support menu planning efforts by preparing ingredients for upcoming shifts and special events Qualifications Previous experience in food service or restaurant kitchens is highly preferred Knowledge of food preparation techniques, including cooking methods and recipe adherence Experience with dietary department or dietary aide roles is a plus Strong understanding of safety standards in food production and handling procedures Demonstrated ability to operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members Culinary experience that includes knife skills, slicing techniques, and meal preparation expertise Ability to work quickly under pressure while maintaining attention to detail Catering experience is advantageous but not required Join us as a Line Cook/Prep Cook and bring your passion for food to life in a dynamic environment where every dish counts!
Pay:
