Cook/Prep Fairforest Grove Columbia, SC Job Details Full-time $13 - $16 an hour 5 hours ago Benefits Health insurance Dental insurance Paid time off Vision insurance Referral program Qualifications Kitchen health and safety standards Food service health code compliance Food service cleaning Food preparation Waste sorting Full Job Description The Complimentary Food and Beverage Cook will be tasked with the following duties, responsibilities, and assignments: Prepare and cook food items for line and cook-to-order breakfast consumption using standardized foodtechniques; Assist in the coordination of opening and closing breakfast as well as all line prepduties; Prepare all food for the following day as required anddirected; Operate, maintain and properly clean kitchenequipment; Maintain sanitary regulations of food temperatures and rotatingproducts; Complete regular sanitization/disinfection of all kitchen and food and beverage work areas to include flooring, storerooms, prep areas, buffets, dining tables, andequipment; Learn menus, recipes, preparations andpresentation; Ability to operate dish machine and three compartmentsinks; Separate and remove trash and garbage and place it in designatedcontainers; Maintain complete knowledge of and comply with all departmental policies/service procedures/standards; Follow all company safety and security policies and procedures, including reporting accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions to management; and Any and allother work as required to complete the primary purpose of the position.
