Job Overview We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Lead Production Cook to join our Food Service team, supporting the Director of Food Service. In this pivotal role, you will oversee daily food production operations, ensuring that all products meet quality standards and comply with safety and regulatory requirements. Your leadership will drive continuous improvement initiatives, uphold sanitation, and foster a collaborative environment that emphasizes food safety and excellence. Schedule This role is full-time (40 hours/week) with some weekends required. The hours for this position are approximately noon - 8:00pm. Responsibilities Collaborate with the head chef and Food Service Director on menu planning, ordering, training, budgeting, kitchen processes, and much more. Support and help lead the entire food processing operation, including preparation, packaging, sanitation, and equipment maintenance, ensuring adherence to safety standards in production. Implement and monitor quality assurance protocols to ensure products consistently meet company specifications and customer expectations. Enforce sanitation procedures and GMP guidelines to maintain a clean, safe, and compliant manufacturing environment. Qualifications Proven experience in food production or manufacturing management within the food & beverage industry. Associates Degree in Culinary Arts or 3+ years experience in culinary supervision. Strong understanding of FDA regulations, HACCP principles, CGMP standards, and food safety management practices. Demonstrated ability to manage food processing operations while maintaining compliance with safety standards in production. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Knowledge of sanitation procedures, packaging processes, and quality assurance within a food processing plant setting. Commitment to safety standards in production and continuous improvement initiatives. A demonstrated passion for the mission of the Diocese and St. Christopher.

Pay:

$48,000.00 - $53,000.00 per year
