Job Description
Looking for an experienced line cook for The Grit Counter in North Charleston. Our Service is counter focused with a full bar. We have a fun new concept of bringing in high quality, Chef-driven ingredients and presenting it in a casual atmosphere. Beautiful new building directly next to The North Charleston Coliseum. We are open Tuesday-Thursday 8-2, Friday & Saturday 8-8pm, and Sunday 9-3pm. This is a flexible schedule position with some of the shifts being 6:30AM - 4PM and others being 1PM to 9PM or midday volume shifts on either Friday or Saturday. We are located directly next the North Charleston Coliseum, and we have parking for our staff available in the Coliseum lot for free. We are looking for someone who prides themselves on hospitality. Our menu is fun, but different than the average customer's expectation. Punctuality and dependability are major traits that we look for in our staff members. The kitchen is completely open to the restaurant guests and staff must be on top of hygiene, cleanliness and how they present themselves, their station and their food. Looking for a strong team-oriented professional. Our Brand is growing, and we are looking for people to grow with us. Our Chefs are extremely talented, and our company has many talented exceptional staff members. We are looking to add one more!
