Duties Prepare ingredients according to recipes and menu specifications, ensuring consistency and quality in every dish Slice, chop, and assemble food items using proper knife skills and slicing techniques to maintain safety standards Operate kitchen equipment such as fryers, grills, ovens, slicers, and mixers safely and efficiently Follow food safety management protocols to ensure cleanliness, proper food handling, and sanitation throughout the prep process Assist with meal preparation by portioning ingredients accurately and adhering to recipe guidelines Maintain a clean and organized work area by regularly cleaning utensils, surfaces, and equipment in compliance with safety standards in production Communicate effectively with kitchen staff to coordinate prep activities and ensure timely delivery of ingredients for service Requirements Prior experience in a fast-paced, high-volume kitchen is highly desirable Proven food preparation and cooking experience within a restaurant or food industry setting Knowledge of recipe adherence and meal assembly processes Familiarity with food safety standards in production environments and proper food handling techniques Ability to operate various kitchen equipment safely and efficiently Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with kitchen and FOH team members Kitchen experience demonstrating proficiency in knife skills, slicing techniques, and food industry best practices preferred but not required Attention to detail in following recipes precisely and maintaining high standards of cleanliness and safety Join us as a Prep Cook and be part of a dedicated team committed to excellence in every plate served.
