Full Job Description Summary:
prepare cafe style menuEssential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Weekends necessary
- Prepare visually appealing, high-quality cafe style dishes while adhering to standardized recipes and portion controls.
- Ensures efficient use of ingredients and inventory through organized workflow and attention to detail
- Assists with inventory management, including ordering, receiving, and proper storage of supplies
- Operates kitchen equipment safely and hygienically, performing routine cleaning and preventive maintenance as needed
- Monitors equipment performance and promptly reports any malfunctions or safety concerns.
- Maintains a positive, proactive attitude; demonstrates initiative, adaptability, and effective problem-solving skills
- Accepts feedback constructively and follows directions to support team and shift goals
- Assists with additional tasks such as side work, stocking, and maintaining BVAD.
- Adheres to all sanitation, health, and safety regulations; wears the proper uniform and keeps work areas clean, organized, and presentable at all times Education and/or Experience Required High school diploma or equivalent, or actively working toward it Basic knowledge of, or willingness to learn, workplace sanitation and safety regulations Basic understanding of, or ability to learn, food handling, preparation, and cooking techniques Works efficiently and effectively in a fast-paced environment Strong team player who performs well under pressure Excellent organizational skills with strong attention to detail and time management Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and committed to high-quality standards Preferred Minimum one (1) year kitchen / Back of house experience Language Skills o Professional and accurate verbal and written communication o Ability to interact with a diverse and international customer base Mathematical Skills ability to use simple math equations for instructions /recipes
