This role works closely with the kitchen team to prepare ingredients, operate grill equipment, complete customer orders, and support efficient restaurant service. Common Job Roles Grill Cook Specialist Grill Cook Line Cook Kitchen Cook Restaurant Cook Key Responsibilities Prepare meats, vegetables, sauces, and other ingredients for grilling Cook burgers, steaks, chicken, seafood, vegetables, and other grilled menu items according to recipes Operate grills, ovens, fryers, and other commercial kitchen equipment safely Monitor cooking temperatures and times to maintain food quality and food safety Assemble completed dishes and customer orders according to presentation standards Coordinate with kitchen and service staff to complete orders efficiently Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked grill station Restock ingredients, seasonings, cooking supplies, and kitchen materials Clean and sanitize cooking equipment, utensils, and work surfaces Follow food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety procedures Assist with opening, closing, and general kitchen duties Support the kitchen team during busy service periods Requirements Previous grill cook, line cook, restaurant, or food service experience is an asset but not required Basic knowledge of food preparation and safe food handling Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment Strong teamwork and communication skills Ability to stand for extended periods and lift moderate loads Reliable, punctual, and willing to learn Preferred Skills Experience operating commercial grills and kitchen equipment Knowledge of cooking temperatures, food safety, and sanitation procedures Strong attention to detail and portion control Good time management and multitasking abilities Ability to maintain consistent food quality during busy periods Positive attitude and team-focused approach About the Company Liberty Park Grill provides a casual dining environment featuring grilled foods and a variety of restaurant menu offerings.
