Ideal Candidate:
The ideal applicant will have at least 1 year of experience in a high-volume, full-service kitchen, preferably in a casual dining environment. Strong cooking and plating techniques, a commitment to consistency, and a willingness to cross-train on multiple stations are essential.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and cook menu items following established recipes and quality standards. Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary work area at all times. Ensure adherence to all food safety protocols and proper handling practices. Work collaboratively with fellow kitchen staff to ensure timely service during busy periods. Assist with restocking and proper line setup for successful shift execution. Monitor food quality and presentation to maintain consistency and standards. Participate in light prep work to ensure station readiness for service. Offer input on seasonal menu items and special features.
Qualifications:
Strong understanding of food safety standards and culinary best practices. Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment. Excellent teamwork and communication skills. Familiarity with various cooking methods, ingredients, tools, and equipment. Passion for food and dedication to delivering a high-quality guest experience. Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
