Job Description

Overview We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Cook to join our team! In this role, you will be responsible for preparing meals that meet safety standards and adhere to established recipes. Your enthusiasm for food preparation, combined with your culinary expertise, will contribute to creating a welcoming environment where guests enjoy memorable dining experiences. Responsibilities Prepare and cook meals according to menu specifications, recipes, and safety standards in a timely manner Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, including ovens, mixers, slicers, and other culinary tools Follow proper food handling procedures to ensure cleanliness and prevent contamination Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen area by cleaning workstations, utensils, and equipment regularly Communicate effectively with kitchen staff to ensure smooth food production and service flow Adhere strictly to food safety management practices and safety standards during all phases of meal preparation Qualifications Prior experience is highly desirable Knowledge of food safety standards in production environments and proper food handling procedures Ability to operate various kitchen equipment safely and efficiently Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with kitchen staff Previous restaurant or food service experience preferred but not required; enthusiasm for culinary arts is essential
Pay:
$12.00 - $16.00 per hour
