Duties Prepare and assemble a variety of pizzas following established recipes and menu specifications, ensuring consistency and quality. Maintain strict food safety standards by adhering to sanitizing procedures, proper food handling practices, and sanitation protocols at all times. Assist with food preparation tasks including braising, poaching, grilling, and other cooking techniques to support overall kitchen operations. Support menu planning efforts by providing input on ingredient selection and seasonal offerings to enhance customer satisfaction. Ensure timely delivery of freshly made pizzas to customers or service stations while managing high-volume production demands. Uphold cleanliness standards in the kitchen area through regular cleaning, sanitizing surfaces, and proper storage of ingredients. Qualifications Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments with a focus on pizza or similar high-volume food production is preferred. Strong knowledge of food safety management practices and sanitizing procedures essential for maintaining hygiene standards. Demonstrated culinary experience with skills in food preparation, knife handling, grilling, braising, poaching, and other cooking techniques. Familiarity with operating kitchen equipment such as ovens, mixers, slicers, and other culinary tools required for pizza making. Experience in menu planning and recipe adherence to ensure consistency across all dishes served. Background in dietary aide work or dietary department experience is a plus for accommodating special dietary needs. Excellent food handling skills combined with a passion for culinary arts and customer satisfaction.
