In this vital role, you will assist in preparing ingredients, assembling dishes, and maintaining a clean, organized kitchen environment. Your energy and culinary skills will contribute to delivering exceptional dining experiences, ensuring every plate meets our high standards of taste and presentation. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your kitchen expertise while working in a fast-paced, team-oriented setting. Duties Prepare ingredients by washing, peeling, slicing, and chopping to ensure readiness for cooking and plating Assist in assembling menu items according to standardized recipes and presentation guidelines Support the cooking process by monitoring food temperatures, timing, and portioning to uphold safety standards in production Maintain cleanliness of workstations, utensils, and equipment in compliance with food safety regulations Follow proper food handling procedures to prevent cross-contamination and ensure freshness of ingredients Help with food service operations during peak hours by supporting plating and serving as needed Assist with inventory management by organizing supplies and notifying supervisors of stock levels Requirements Previous experience in dietary departments or as a dietary aide is highly desirable Hands-on experience with menu planning, food preparation, and cooking techniques Strong knowledge of safety standards in food production and food handling practices Familiarity with kitchen equipment, knife skills, slicing techniques, and meal preparation methods Experience working in restaurants or the food industry demonstrating excellent food safety management skills Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail Excellent teamwork skills with a positive attitude toward supporting culinary operations Embark on a culinary journey where your skills make a difference!
