We're seeking a skilled and dependable Cook who takes pride in preparing delicious, high-quality meals in a warm and welcoming environment. Enjoy a consistent full-time schedule with Wednesdays and Saturdays off : Sunday-Tuesday, 6:00 a.m.-2:30 p.m. , and Thursday-Friday, 10:30 a.m.-6:30 p.m. Are you ready to love your job again? This is more than a traditional restaurant kitchen. You'll have the opportunity to build relationships with the people you serve while being part of a supportive culinary team. Pay $20-$22 per hour , based on experience. What You'll Do Prepare and cook fresh, high-quality meals according to established recipes and menus Ensure food is prepared safely, consistently, and with attention to presentation Follow proper food handling, sanitation, and kitchen safety procedures Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked workstation Assist with food preparation, inventory, and kitchen organization Work collaboratively with the culinary and dining teams to provide an excellent resident experience Assist with special events, celebrations, and catered functions within the community Accommodate resident preferences and dietary needs as directed What We're Looking For At least 1 year of cooking or culinary experience required Previous experience in senior living, healthcare, hospitality, restaurant, or high-volume dining preferred Strong knowledge of food preparation, kitchen safety, and sanitation standards Dependable, organized, and able to work effectively as part of a team Strong attention to quality, presentation, and resident satisfaction Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as scheduled Why Arbor Terrace Lakeway?
