WEEKENDS, HOLIDAYS, AND OPEN AVAILABILITY MANDATORY

Duties Prepare ingredients by washing, peeling, slicing, chopping, and measuring according to recipes and safety standards Assist with menu planning by organizing ingredients and ensuring timely availability for cooking and plating Operate kitchen equipment such as mixers, slicers, ovens, and fryers safely and efficiently Follow food safety protocols to maintain cleanliness, proper food handling, and sanitation throughout the kitchen Support cooking processes by assisting chefs with meal preparation, plating, and presentation Maintain a clean work area by regularly cleaning utensils, surfaces, and equipment in accordance with health regulations Communicate effectively with kitchen staff to coordinate tasks and ensure smooth workflow during busy service times Skills Previous dietary department or dietary aide experience is highly desirable Strong food preparation skills with knowledge of slicing techniques and recipe adherence Experience in food service environments such as restaurants or catering settings Proficiency in operating various kitchen equipment safely and efficiently Knowledge of food safety management practices and safety standards in production environments Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with kitchen staff and team members Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail and quality standards This role is an exciting opportunity for motivated individuals passionate about culinary arts and committed to delivering exceptional food experiences.
