Position Summary:
Prepares hot, cold and baked food items for patients, cafeteria and guests, to include modified diets. Prepares, sets up and serves catered functions as assigned. Assists in overall department cleaning, sanitation and safety. Develops and prepares food per department guidelines. Qualifications At least six months experience in quantity food preparation preferred in a hospital setting. Food Handler's permit must be obtained within first week of employment. Must be able to read and compute basic math. Must be able to follow basic directions without constant supervision. Can operate and clean large pieces of food service equipment.
