Job Summary Join our dynamic culinary team as a Line Cook/Prep Cook, where your passion for food and dedication to excellence will shine! In this energetic role, you will be responsible for preparing high-quality ingredients and dishes that delight our guests. You'll work closely with the kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations, maintain safety standards, and uphold our commitment to exceptional food service. Responsibilities Prepare ingredients and assemble dishes according to established recipes and menu specifications Assist in meal preparation, ensuring timely delivery of orders during busy service hours Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, including knives, ovens, grills, and food processors Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations, adhering to food safety and sanitation standards Support the kitchen team with slicing, portioning, and food handling tasks with precision and care Follow safety protocols in food production to prevent accidents and ensure a safe working environment Communicate effectively with kitchen staff to coordinate meal preparation and ensure quality standards are met Requirements Previous experience in food service, restaurant kitchens, or dietary departments is highly preferred Knowledge of food safety management practices and adherence to safety standards in production Strong knife skills with proficiency in slicing techniques and ingredient preparation Experience with menu planning, recipe adherence, and meal preparation processes Ability to operate various kitchen equipment safely and efficiently Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with kitchen staff Familiarity with dietary aide responsibilities or dietary department experience is a plus Join us if you're passionate about culinary arts, eager to grow your skills in a lively environment, and committed to delivering outstanding food experiences!
