Duties Assist in menu planning to ensure variety, nutritional value, and adherence to dietary guidelines Prepare and cook meals according to established recipes and safety standards Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, including knives, slicers, ovens, and food preparation tools Maintain cleanliness of workstations, utensils, and kitchen appliances in compliance with food safety regulations Handle food with care, ensuring proper storage, portioning, and presentation for optimal quality Support catering events by preparing large quantities of food while maintaining consistency and safety standards Communicate effectively with kitchen staff to coordinate meal preparation and ensure timely service Skills Proven experience in dietary departments or as a dietary aide, with knowledge of meal planning and food preparation techniques Strong understanding of food safety management, handling procedures, and sanitation practices Skilled in cooking methods including slicing techniques, knife skills, and recipe adherence Experience operating kitchen equipment safely within a fast-paced environment Excellent communication skills to collaborate seamlessly with kitchen staff and other team members Background in food service or restaurant environments demonstrating reliability and professionalism Knowledge of catering processes, food industry standards, and safety regulations related to food handling Join us in delivering exceptional meal experiences that nourish both body and spirit!
