BILINGUAL
(ESPANOL) and passionate Prep Cook and Salad Station to join our culinary team. We need only morning shifts covered, 3 days a week:WEDNESDAY
9am-3pm, FRIDAY 9am-3pm, SATURDAY 9am-3pm. The ideal candidate will have experience in the food industry, and possess a strong understanding of meal preparation and food handling practices. If you thrive in a collaborative kitchen setting and are eager to contribute to menu planning and catering events, we want to hear from you. Duties Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, adhering to food safety regulations. Utilize proper knife skills for food preparation, including chopping, slicing, and dicing. Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely meal service during peak hours. Assist with catering events as needed, contributing to the overall success of special functions. Help train new kitchen staff on food handling techniques and kitchen protocols. Skills Proven experience in the food industry, particularly in a line cook or prep cook role. Strong knife skills and knowledge of various cooking techniques. Knowledge of food handling regulations and best practices for safety. Ability to assist in menu planning that caters to diverse tastes and dietary needs. Excellent teamwork skills with the ability to work efficiently under pressure. A passion for cooking and a desire to learn new culinary skills.
