Support the kitchen team by organizing supplies, restocking ingredients, and ensuring smooth workflow during service hours. Communicate effectively with kitchen staff to coordinate food prep tasks and ensure timely delivery of meals. Follow safety standards in production processes to prevent accidents and ensure food safety management compliance. Qualifications Previous experience in a dietary department or dietary aide role is highly desirable. Strong food preparation skills with knowledge of cooking techniques and knife skills, including slicing techniques. Familiarity with menu planning, recipe adherence, and meal preparation processes. Experience operating kitchen equipment safely in a fast-paced environment such as restaurants or catering settings. Knowledge of food handling practices, food safety protocols, and sanitation standards required by the food industry. Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with kitchen staff and other team members. Ability to follow detailed instructions accurately while maintaining high-quality food safety standards.
