Job Description
Mayhem on Wheels is a veteran-owned food truck bringing globally inspired comfort food to the New Braunfels and San Antonio area. We're in our early stages and looking for an experienced cook who's ready to do more than just cook we want someone who wants to help build this business and grow into a leadership role.
You ll start by working alongside the owner, learning our recipes, preparing food, and running service together. We need someone comfortable cooking under pressure, keeping orders moving, and maintaining consistent quality in a small kitchen. Strong food safety habits, reliability, and a willingness to handle everything from prep to cleanup are essential. Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.
This position begins part-time, with hours growing as our event calendar and regular service schedule expand. The goal is to develop this into a full-time Food Truck Manager position, with responsibility for leading service, coordinating a small crew, and eventually taking the truck to events independently.
We want someone with the ambition to help grow the business, not just work scheduled shifts. Someone who helps identify opportunities, build relationships and bring new gigs to the truck should see that contribution reflected directly in their compensation. As the role develops, this person will also have increasing creative input into weekly specials and future menu items, while working within the Mayhem on Wheels concept and operating model.
If you re a dependable, experienced cook who wants more responsibility and room to grow, tell us about your cooking experience, availability, and what interests you about helping launch Mayhem on Wheels.
