Job Description
Cooking with heart is essential to providing a healthy environment for our residents. This position works closely with the Wellness Department, you must be receptive and maintain open communication to ensure a strong team environment and for our Residents to receive optimum care. Applicant must have excellent written and verbal communication skills, a proven team player which follows all criteria of our kitchen/culinary department. Ability to create and plate excellent meals, creative in approach to cost effectiveness as well as enjoy baking. This position reports to the Kitchen Manager. Candidates must have Safe Serv Certification, Manager Certification preferred. Comply with policies and procedures as well as the State of Texas rules and regulations. Ability to work under pressure. Senior housing experience is preferred.
