Pizza Maker Reports To General Manager Job Summary We are seeking a passionate and experienced Pizza Restaurant Cook to join our team in Frisco, Texas. We specialize in pizza, salads, appetizers and desserts. We are currently seeking a highly motivated pizza cook/cook to join the team! The successful candidate will be responsible for making our full menu of food items and make sure quality and consistency are always top of mind. Responsibilities Prepare and cook a variety of pizzas using a gas-fired oven Hand stretched, NY style knowledge preferred Follow recipes and instructions to ensure consistency in taste and presentation Create and execute menu items for pizza, salads, appetizers and desserts Prepare ingredients, such as chopping vegetables and mixing dough Ensure that all food is prepared to the highest standard Ensure that all kitchen equipment and utensils are properly cleaned and maintained Monitor food inventory and restock as needed Communicate effectively with kitchen staff and management Maintain a clean and safe work environment Order and maintain inventory of all kitchen supplies and ingredients Train and supervise kitchen staff Maintain a clean and organized kitchen Work closely with the front of house team to ensure that all customer needs are met Qualifications 1+ years of experience as a Pizza Chef or cook Must be available immediately Knowledge of pizza-making techniques and ingredients Familiarity with pizza ovens Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices Strong organizational and time-management skills Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment Strong communication and teamwork skills Must be able to stand for long periods of time and lift up to 50 lbs.
