Job Description
Responsibilities Stretch and prepare pizza dough by hand Top and bake pizzas according to restaurant recipes Prepare pasta dishes using different sauces and ingredients Cook pasta to the correct consistency and portion meals accurately Prepare wings, sandwiches, salads and other menu items Operate the pizza oven, stovetop and other kitchen equipment safely Manage multiple pizza and pasta orders during busy periods Complete daily food preparation and keep ingredients stocked Maintain a clean, organized and sanitary kitchen Assist with opening and closing duties Follow food-safety and proper food-handling procedures Work cooperatively with cooks, cashiers and management Qualifications Previous pizza and pasta cooking experience strongly preferred Experience stretching dough and operating a pizza oven preferred Ability to prepare common pasta dishes and sauces consistently Reliable transportation and consistent attendance Ability to work quickly and calmly during rush periods Availability for evening and weekend shifts Able to stand for extended periods and lift approximately 40 pounds Texas Food Handler certification required or must be obtained promptly
