Role:

Little Academy of Humble is looking for a passionate and dedicated Cook to join our team in Humble, TX! In this role, you'll play a vital part in nourishing young minds by preparing healthy, delicious meals for our students each day. If you love cooking and have a heart for children, this is the perfect opportunity for you!

Responsibilities:

Prepare and cook nutritious, age-appropriate meals and snacks for children daily Follow established menus, recipes, and portion guidelines to ensure consistency Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary kitchen environment at all times Monitor food inventory and assist with ordering supplies as needed Adhere to all food safety, handling, and storage regulations Accommodate dietary restrictions, allergies, and special nutritional needs Coordinate meal timing to align with classroom and school schedules

Requirements:

Previous experience in food preparation, cooking, or a kitchen environment preferred Knowledge of food safety standards and proper sanitation practices Ability to follow recipes and prepare meals for large groups Experience working in a childcare, school, or institutional kitchen is a plus Food Handler's Certification or willingness to obtain upon hire Reliable, punctual, and able to work a consistent daily schedule Caring, team-oriented attitude with a passion for serving children
