Job Summary:

Kiddie Academy of Atascocita has an exciting opportunity for an energetic, creative and organized person to join us as our Preschool Cook / Food Service Manager. This position allows you to blend your experience in preparing and serving healthy and nutritious meals and snacks with your ability to communicate and collaborate positively with colleagues and children. You'll be a valued member of a passionate team of child care professionals who make a meaningful difference in the lives of children and families in our community every day. Job Responsibilities :

Responsible for the planning and preparation of snacks and meals; orders and inventory of all kitchen items. Ensures all health and safety standards are met; accepts temporary assignments within the Academy. Do morning and afternoon bus runs. You don't need a CDL license. Qualifications Proven experience in food preparation and cooking within a preschool or similar environment Strong food handling and service skills Background in the food industry, including restaurant or kitchen experience Excellent knife skills and meal preparation abilities Experience in menu planning and dietary department functions is a plus Familiarity with catering and serving practices
