In this energetic role, you will be responsible for preparing high-quality dishes in a fast-paced environment, ensuring every plate meets our standards of excellence. Your skills in food preparation, safety, and kitchen operation will contribute directly to delivering exceptional dining experiences. Duties Prepare and cook menu items with precision, adhering strictly to recipes and presentation standards Operate various kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, including grills, braising pans, poaching stations, and food processors Maintain high standards of food safety and sanitizing procedures to ensure a clean and safe work environment Assist in menu planning by preparing ingredients and suggesting improvements based on culinary best practices Handle food production for high-volume service periods, ensuring timely delivery of dishes Practice excellent food handling techniques, including proper knife skills and portion control Support dietary department needs by understanding dietary restrictions and assisting with meal preparation accordingly Experience Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments, particularly in fine dining or high-volume kitchens Strong culinary background with skills in grilling, braising, poaching, and other cooking techniques Familiarity with food safety management systems and sanitizing procedures Experience with food industry standards for handling, storage, and preparation of ingredients Knowledge of recipe adherence and consistent meal presentation Dietary aide or dietary department experience is a plus, especially in catering or healthcare settings Demonstrated ability to operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently while maintaining high-quality food production standards Join us to bring your culinary passion to life!
