Job Description
Inn Of The Hills Hotel & Conference Center is seeking a Line Cook to join our team! Must be reliable and passionate about food & beverage Overview Join our dynamic culinary team as a Line Cook, where your passion for food and dedication to excellence will shine! In this vital role, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking a variety of dishes with precision and creativity. Your energy and culinary skills will contribute to delivering memorable dining experiences for our guests. We value team members who thrive in fast-paced environments, take pride in food presentation, and are committed to maintaining the highest standards of food safety and quality. Responsibilities Prepare ingredients and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards Assist in menu planning by suggesting innovative dish ideas and ensuring consistency in food quality Handle food preparation tasks efficiently, including chopping, slicing, marinating, and portioning ingredients Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen workspace, adhering to food safety regulations Support catering events and special functions by preparing large quantities of food with accuracy Serve dishes promptly to ensure optimal presentation and temperature for guests Follow all food handling procedures to prevent cross-contamination and ensure a safe dining environment Requirements Previous experience in a dietary department or dietary aide role is highly desirable Proven background in food service, restaurant, or kitchen environments with a focus on food preparation and cooking Strong knife skills and proficiency in meal preparation techniques Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail Excellent communication skills for coordinating with team members and serving staff Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed Embark on a culinary journey with us where your skills will be celebrated!
