Job Overview We are seeking a passionate and energetic Soup Prep Cook to join our dynamic culinary team. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing delicious soups and broths that serve as the foundation for our hot pot dishes. Your expertise in food preparation, safety standards, and kitchen operations will ensure our guests enjoy high-quality, flavorful meals in a fast-paced environment. This position offers an exciting opportunity to showcase your culinary skills while contributing to a vibrant dining atmosphere. Responsibilities Prepare and assemble a variety of flavorful soups and broths according to established recipes and menu specifications Assist in ingredient preparation, including slicing vegetables, meats, and other components using proper knife skills and slicing techniques Operate kitchen equipment such as stock pots, blenders, and other food prep tools safely and efficiently Maintain cleanliness of the work area by adhering to food safety standards and sanitation protocols Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely meal preparation and consistent quality across all dishes Follow recipe adherence and portion control guidelines to ensure consistency in flavor and presentation Support overall kitchen operations by assisting with food handling, storage, and inventory management Qualifications Prior experience in dietary departments or dietary aide roles preferred Strong background in food preparation, cooking, and food industry standards Knowledge of safety standards in production environments and food handling procedures Experience with menu planning, recipe adherence, and meal preparation techniques Skilled in operating kitchen equipment safely and effectively Excellent communication skills for coordinating with kitchen staff Demonstrated ability to maintain cleanliness and uphold food safety management practices Catering or restaurant experience is a plus; culinary experience with knife skills and slicing techniques highly valued Join us as a Soup Prep Cook and be part of a team dedicated to delivering an exceptional dining experience that celebrates community through bold flavors and interactive cuisine!
